I'm sad
The scenes in it are spectacular and dreamy, but the story line is not well thought and not convincing. Seems like the director wants to create a beautiful exotic same-sex romance by stacking up oriental symbols into the story, but the movie end up becoming weak and hilarious, at least from an Asian's perspective.

Week 13: A French queer filmThe build up wasn't that strong or believable. Twenty seven minutes into the movie I guess they were already in love. Twenty seven is not that bad to punch in the part where they fall in love but not much scenes were given to the audience to make you feel that. Also the part where it was insinuated that they had sex on the bridge, on the bridge?? Where anyone at any time could see them?? Why there when they were surrounded by the goddamn forest???
Nevertheless this was the saddest lesbian movie I have watched so 🤷🏻♀️. Mylène Jampanoï's piercing eyes got me through.
